Mens Manicure
A male manicure is a simple men's spa treatment that helps keep both your hands and nails in perfect condition. There are lots of different men's manicure options, involving nail buffing, cuticle care, as well as hand and nail moisturizing with a hand massage.
Classic Manicure
A traditional manicure that you are probably familiar with. Here, your nails are buffed, trimmed, shaped, and cuticles are cut. Also, cuticle oil is applied. At the end of the treatment, a hand massage will be included.
Gel Polish Manicure
In a gel polish manicure, I use a soft gel in the form of polish. The gel polish is applied in layers, at least 2, plus top gel polish and design if you prefer. The manicure will last at least 2 weeks (but often as long as 4 weeks). The final results come with a pretty shiny or matte finish with no chipping, peeling, or cracking.
Acrylic Extension
An acrylic extension is a combination of acrylic powder and liquid monomer that is spread over the natural nail and formed to extend the natural nail bed, giving it an appropriate shape and length. The procedure involves cutting, buffing, and filing your natural nails, and gel polish will be applied at the end of the treatment.
Gel/Polygel Extension
A gel extension is created to extend the natural nail bed and shape, then cured under a UV lamp to harden. The procedure involves cutting, filing, and buffing your natural nails. Also, gel polish will be applied at the end of the treatment. Gel extensions are known for their natural-looking appearance and flexibility.
Gel Overlay
Gel overlays are similar to gel polish as they cover only the natural nail. They don't add length; they are slightly thicker. It's a good choice for weak nails to get extra length and strength. In the process, a full classic manicure is applied: cuticle care plus shaping and buffing plus color if you wish.
Acrylic or Gel Extension Removal
To remove any extension, I use two different procedures. Acrylic nails can be removed by dipping your nails in a solution to peel off the product completely. Gel nails cannot be removed via acetone; I have to file them down using an e-file machine. In the process, filing, buffing, cuticle oil, and moisturizing cream are applied.
